This year women joined in solidarity and wore black to the Golden Globes Awards. This is in protest of sexual harassment and to raise awareness for Time’s Up. It is a movement against sexual harassment and fighting against the sexual misconduct in Hollywood and elsewhere.
There are so many women who graced the red carpets but I picked out my top 7 favourite looks from the Golden Globes Awards.
Millie Bobby Brown
Millie Bobby Brown wears a dress from Calvin Klein. She looks great and still youthful in this silk/ satin dress. It’s quite voluminous at the shoulders but it’s nice that the luminosity trails down at the back. The dress is nicely paired with glittery silver heels.
Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain wears quite a simple black dress from Armani Privé. This is a beautiful sleek halter neck dress. Even though it is a halter neck dress its quite conservative with the glitter looking bandeaux that’s attached to the dress. She wear a lovely big dangling pair of earrings to match the dress.
Penelope Cruz
Penelope Cruz wear this silhouette hugging dress from Ralph & Russo. I love the lacing detail on the dress paired with a satin silk fabric that trail what looks like from the side of the dress to the floor. The whole look is very feminine and elegant.

It’s like someone says there’s no prerequisites to worthiness. You’re born worthy and I think that’s a message a lot of women need hear. The women who are still in silence because of trauma, shame due to the assault. They need to understand that it’s not their fault and they’re not dirty. That’s my message tonight.” – Viola Davis
Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot wears a stunning dress from Tom Ford. I love the whole look from the cropped blazer to the dress with a slit on the side of the dress. Her whole appearance is sleek and looks like she means business.
Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie wears a dress from Atelier Versace. I love how the dress drapes and flows down smoothly. My favourite feature of the dress if the wispy feathers on the sleeve edges. There’s so many elements to the dress from the wispy sleeve hem to the sheer fabric and the ruching on the waist down.
Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie wears a dress from Gucci. She looks absolutely stunning in this dress. The embellishments are so eye catching and bold against the black dress. It as a very deep plunge, shoulder pads and a slit in the dress. She looks glamours and chic.
Claire Foy
Claire Foy wears a double breasted blazer with flared trousers from Stella McCartney. The whole appearance is very bold and chic. I love the slick back hair and the plunging front of the blazer. I love the flared trousers which I feel will be quite a fashion item later this year.
