Nothing is more important than moisturizing the skin after a nice shower.

Showers and baths are quite drying for the skin. Especially now that its colder and the air feels dry, I like to use a more nourishing lotion that hydrates my skin. I much prefer to use lotions with a light scent and something not oily or sticky.

Victoria’s Secret Pink Body Lotion

500ml – £15

I love the scent of these body lotions. It is quite pricey for a body lotion but you get what you pay for in the bottle, a little pump goes a long way so you don’t even need to use that much. The scent is long lasting and quite moisturizing.

Aveeno Body Lotion

500ml – £13.79

This is great for dry skin, this doesn’t really have a scent so if you aren’t into scents then this would be great for you. I like that it has Colloidal Oatmeal is great for soothing irritated skin and Oats itself is very moisturizing.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Pump Body Lotion

400ml – £5.99

This lotion smells amazing, it smells of cocoa butter. The scent is long lasting and it leaves your skin very supple and smooth. It contains Vitamin E which can help the look of stretch marks and imperfections on the skin.

Vaseline

400ml – £5.99

This was my go-to body lotion when I first started moisturizing. It has a very light scent, it doesn’t linger around for long. It does its job but I feel like I would need to reapply it during the day.

Ted Baker Body Lotion

250ml – £8.00

This body lotion is quite expensive for the amount you get. It has a nice floral scent it and its very light so for those who can’t tolerate strong scents this one is good for you. It does moisturize the skin but not as well as others I would say. I would much rather prefer to use this on my hands after I wash them as it is quite pricey.
