Skin changes in different seasons and so does the hair, which is why it’s important to look after the hair as well. The hair is exposed to the winter elements, therefore, your hair is prone to any damages.

1. Deep Condition

The hair loses its moisture during the colder months, therefore it’s important to bring back that moisture. You should aim to do this at least once a week.

2. Oils

Since the hair loses its moisture it also loses its shine. The best way to tackle this is using oils. This helps to replenish and adds moisture as well as shine to the hair. However, you may want to do this at least once a week and in little amounts.

3. Keep washing your hair to a minimum

Since your hair loses its moisture, you don’t want to dry it out so much that you start getting dandruff. So you may want to change up your washing routine but also change up your shampoo to something hydrating and nourishing. This is why you don’t want to overdo the amount of oil and how frequent you use it because you’ll have less frequent washes.

4. Dry shampoo is your best friend

Since you’re washing your hair less you may find that for you your hair gets greasy at the top of your hair, the best solution is to use dry shampoo. You may not think much of dry shampoos but there is so much more to it that we didn’t realise, an exampled is that there are different dry shampoos for different types of hair.
